Dear Randy,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review your hypnosis CDs. As a professional weight loss/life coach and someone who has spent almost 20 years helping individuals overcome their struggles with weight, I am always open to exploring and trying new products and methods that may enhance the success of my clients. I anticipate your CDs to be very effective for this purpose. In fact, for anyone looking to enhance their success with weight loss, these CDs can be a wonderful daily supplemental tool.

Having never tried hypnosis before, I admit that I was very skeptical. I had a sort of preconceived notion that hypnosis was risky and even unbelievable. I confess now that I have totally changed my thinking, and these fears have been lifted. Your sessions were clear, soothing, and very relaxing. Your introduction effectively prepared me for what was to come and how I should best use your product. They were clear and enjoyable. I have changed my thinking, not only as a consumer, but as a weight loss professional as well.

As a coach, I specialize in helping clients tap into their own unique resources and approaches to losing weight and keeping it off. I, too, address a host of topics including: proper nutrition and portion control; tips and strategies; history with certain foods; eating behaviors; and exercise. Stress and emotional eating are almost always discussed.

I share your belief that weight loss begins in the mind. The biggest factor in weight loss success is having the right mindset and making time for focusing on this task. In essence, it is about taking time for you. Your hypnosis sessions, when done on a daily basis, force you to do just that. It keeps your mind fresh and in tune to weight loss and your goal. The messages are highly effective and the visualization techniques work well. I particularly liked the use of color (power of association) and the fist. I found myself looking forward to starting each day in a calmer, more relaxed, and focused way. What it turned out to be for me was a little therapy session for both my mind and my soul. Your voice is very calming and forced me to slow down.

Here are a few more of my observations:

  • As always, I believe that consistency is key. I can see the immense value and effectiveness in listening to the sessions on a daily basis. In fact, some of my clients have tried hypnosis while I was coaching them, and it enhanced their weight loss. My biggest criticism is that most individuals struggle with making time for themselves, whether it is for exercise, eating and planning their meals, and/or getting in a hypnosis session. I found that I, too, needed to really make the time to listen to your CDs. A few times, I listened to them before going to bed and I actually fell asleep. (Sorry.)
  • Most of my clients are super busy. They can hardly find 30 minutes a day to devote to weight loss. It is quite the challenge. On the other hand, for me, once I made the time to listen to the session for the day, it was almost like a treat for myself. In the end, I was quite grateful for giving myself the time and the attention.
  • Each session served a different purpose due to the various topics that you addressed. All were calming. I enjoyed the daily lessons and messages. On this note, allow me to add my role and belief as a coach. It is even better, if necessary, to be able to discuss these points further with another person. The combination of coach with hypnosis can definitely be powerful.
  • You give a nice introduction to the CDs and how the hypnosis sessions work best. You allow the client to know what to expect from the CDs and you are very informative. I particularly liked the emphasis and explanation of the mind/body connection.
  • The CDs were soothing – therapy for the mind and soul. They really allow you to calm down and de-stress – two important factors for weight loss success.
  • The visualizations/ the power of association were effective. I often use such techniques in my weight loss coaching. The visualizations stayed with me throughout the day (the fist, the color pink and blue). It allowed me to reflect on the topic of the day – hence, staying more focused and aware about my eating. (Something interesting happened to me two nights in a row after listening to your CDs. I vividly dreamt in pink and I vividly saw deep blue in my dreams, though my dreams had nothing to do with weight loss itself on either of those nights. What does that mean? I’m really curious.)
  • One of my favorite sessions was the first one about portion control (the fist). I have often used the visual of the fist, and it is a real eye-opener. I like the idea of eating small amounts and seeing yourself walk away from the rest. Highly effective!
  • My least favorite session involved the exercise visualization about going back to childhood and being so active. I happened to have been a very inactive, sort of clumsy, child – not a big athlete. It was difficult to go back in time to visualize this, though in the end, the session too was effective.

In closing, I would like to congratulate you on a product well done. I would absolutely recommend these CDs to my clients and wish you the best of luck and success.
